Which comedy made the most money in the 2000s? The hangover? They made 2 more movies just because people ate that up.

Old School, Superbad or Wedding Crashers all have legit claims for the 2000s
The Hangover made the most money but I don’t think it’s had a lasting impact as big as the others listed

Hangover ruined itself though. On its own it was funny and fine, but it’s sequels have ruined it. Superbad is by default better because they didn’t frick with a good thing. Anyone who went to high school from the mid-90s through 2000s knows that was high school. The time where you had a cell phone and not a smart phone. It was shot as a period piece from the start, and thus will hold up far better. You will be able to show this film to your kids and say “Save for the cops, that’s exactly how it was going to high school in our generation.”

No love for road trip in the 2000s?
I think it’s better than old school at least.
Dumb and dumber for the 90s..... not close. I’d say home alone tops any of the adam Sandler movies also.
