Guillermo del Toro's Pans Labyrinth.
I would hate to have a dream in that guy's head.

Lots of great ones listed. I'll mention Hammer's The Mummy (1959). My favorite version.

The three Gamera films from the 1990s are arguably some of the best Kaiju movies out there, after the original Godzilla.

Kong '05 is a fine adaptation to the original, save for the galloping sauropods. ( sorry, I'll never get past that )
Godzilla 2014
Kong Skull Island
Pacific Rim
Godzilla vs Kong
Jurassic Park ( '93 ) - still superior to all others.
* Taking into account that the original Kong and Godzilla are understood to be must see classics.

Good call. The Creeper is an excellent horror villain/monster.

Not my favorite but an underrated little creature feature was Guillermo Del Torro’s Dont Be Afraid of the Dark. Creepy little bastards
