Medical shows where the monitor is the exact average number for a person’s vitals.

Temp 98.1

HR 60

BP 120/80

Just attach the actor to the monitor.

Also, every show about a treasure hunter ends up with the lost and amazing historical treasure blowing up in the end.

The only one where that didn’t happen was The Goonies. I hate that trope.

always roll my eyes at how people feel hangovers in tv/movies

People chewing Tylenol (or any pills) when hungover for dramatic effect in movies annoys me. Nobody does that in real life and if they do they sure as shite don’t do it without something to drink after.

How about when someone gets shot and flies back 10 feet.

I always get irritated when uniforms, and medals especially, are wrong in military movies. Shitty salutes also piss me off.

Came to say this. Seeing half-arse salutes, low ranking enlisted in positions they wouldn't really be in, a C17 taking twenty minutes to take off.

I just hate sloppiness. Details that could have been nailed down with just a tiny bit of research are left in so many scenes.
Also, I've never seen a movie or TV show get radio/DJ stuff correct.

The crawling through ductwork is one I always bring up. If for starters it held you up, you'd be so cut up from sharp edges inside the duct and sheet metal screws, you'd be bleeding all over the damn place.

Ditto for crawling above ceiling grids. The dinos coming back are more likely than climbing up into a lay-in ceiling supporting your weight, Dr. Grant.

In the movie Troy—a city assumed to have been located in modern-day Turkey—there is a crowd scene toward the end with everyone trying to flee the city. One extra is leading a llama. Maybe it’s an alpaca, but whatever it is it has no place in the ancient Old World .

National Treasure didn't have that happen.

It annoys me that in Night of the Living Dead..after they boarded up the 1st floor..they should have taken all the important things upstairs, and then knocked out the stairs.

Yeah that drove me nuts. Ben was correct to say the basement is a death trap but Harry was also right that the 1st floor wasn't safe. Get the frick up the stairs and create a blockade.

Not a movie, but it always bothered me in Law and Order how every time they question someone in the field, they are almost always walking and carrying on with whatever task they are doing while being questioned.

Law And Order is the biggest offender when it comes to people having incredible memories.

The detectives will question a bartender or waitress about a patron from weeks or even months prior, and they’ll always remember the person and be able to go into extreme detail on what they were doing, who they were with, and anything suspicious about it.

Detective: [shows picture] "you seen this person before?"
Bartender: "oh yeah, green shirt lady...came in a few weeks ago. Sat over there and ordered a Cosmopolitan. Paid in cash."
Detective: "did she seem upset or agitated?"
Bartender: "no...but the guy she was with seemed real anxious and fidgety. He left before she did."

Meanwhile I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday.

Good grief I wished this is how hangovers actually worked.

A few others have picked this one but its my pet peeve... getting shot with a pistol (usually a 9mm) and flying backward like an 18 wheeler just plowed into you going 60.

On top of that the show is set in NYC of all places. Unless the person in question comes in every day or they do something super crazy nobody is remembering some rando they saw even a day ago let alone a few weeks. You could see a 1,000 faces in an hour just standing on a random corner there.

L&O (as well as most lawyer shows) is also really bad about the lawyers jumping up and shouting OBJECTION but then never saying what their specific objection is. Occasionally you'll get them asking for relevance, badgering, or leading but 95% of the time it's just "Objection" w/the judge nodding along and glaring at the lawyer asking questions.

Now I want to rewatch "My Cousin Vinny" to see how they handled that.
