Fantastic creator. He was never my favorite, but my wife helped me understand his genius. RIP, Wes. Great mind.

May very well be as iconic as this guy:



Not to mention the addition of movies like The Last House on the Left and The Hills Have Eyes. Just an incredible writer and director.

I grew up watching up horror movies and The Serpent and the Rainbow is the only one that ever actually scared me. I still think its one of his more underrated movies.
