My best recommendation is to just watch it. Don't try to find a plot, necessarily, or even tie the imagery together. Just experience it. I really had no preconceived notions other than it was going to be 1 big WTF after another.

I mean it is almost cyberpunk. It is almost dystopic. It is almost industrial. If nothing else, it wakes up your brain by its very unconventional nature.

And there are some underlying themes, but, personally, I wouldn't delve into too many of them without having seen the actual film for context.

Words tend to fail people when describing it.
