We might be getting a ‘Married…with Children’ Animated Series With Original Cast

The new take on the 1987 sitcom is written by Family Guy executive producer Alex Carter, who serves as showrunner. Sony Pictures Television, which owns and distributes the original series, has been working on the animated project for over a year and closed deals with the quartet of Married… with Children stars before taking it out.
While it is unclear yet where the animated Married… with Children would land, Fox, Hulu and Peacock are considered logical destinations.

Well any time I catch the show these days, it still cracks me up big time. So it could work if the humor is the same as the original series. My concern, like others have said, is that the humor will be completely neutered.

The show is still fking hillarious; Al Bundy is the hero America needs right now.
All they have to do is find a platform that will allow them to joke about minorities, women, and fat people (mostly fat women)

I suspect most of their politics are far too woke to have a serious reboot. If it occurred, it would be unwatchable for that reason alone.
