Holy Grail by a landslide
That movie is timeless and will forever be appreciated by future generations

Holy Grail and it isn't even close.

You all seem to think that the question is "Which movie is funnier". Monty Python and the Holy Grail is without question the funnier film, but how often do you find yourself quoting it in real life situations? With that being said, Dumb and Dumber can far more easily be quoted in daily life, plus many of the great moments of The Holy Grail consist of rambling for 3 minutes straight, while Dumb and Dumber is almost entirely funny one liners. So as far as quotability, they're certainly close.

I don't quote any movie in real life. I am my own quote machine.

You think too much.

I've used plenty in real life...
Tis a silly place
or
I got better
or
merely a flesh wound
I like to use them in the wrong context to throw people off.... like after I stab someone.... wait. that came out wrong

If I walked around, claiming I was an emperor because some moistened bitch lobbed a scimitar at me, they would put me away.

Holy Grail

I know only 3 quotes about Dumb and Dumber.
I know many quotes that I use regularly from Monty Python.

Dumb and Dumber quotes can be used more in actual life than Monty Python can.
"I fart in your general direction."
See I don't agree with you and there was your first example.
If you can't find a daily use for "And after the spanking, the oral sex!" I feel sorry for you.

That's it. I've had it with this dump! We've got no food, we got no jobs,... our pets' HEADS ARE FALLIN' OFF!!!
I'll tell ya where we'll go. Someplace warm. A place where the beer flows like wine. Where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. I'm talkin' bout a little place called Assssssppppeeeennnnn.
I don't know Lloyd, the French are assholes.
Senior citizens, although slow and dangerous behind the wheel, can still serve a purpose. I'll be right back. Don't you go dying on me!
So you're tellin' me there's a chance.
No, it's a cardigan, but thanks for noticing!
The first time I set eyes on Mary Swanson, I just got that old fashioned romantic feeling, where I'd do anything to bone her.
That's a very special feeling, Lloyd.

How are any of these usable on a daily basis???
The two I most often quote from D&D are:
"Big Gulps huh? Well!... See ya later!"
"Kick his arse Seabass!"
Posted on 6/17/11 at 10:41 am to Freauxzen
I will admit.. I've used the line from D&D from the cop..
you boys been boozin' it , have ya?
and his "tick" after he drinks
buuuuuuuut , I've used Holy Grail AND Super Troopers more....

I probably quote the Frenchman from Grail alone more than I quote Dumb and Dumber entirely. Easily.
