His movie about the rooster was awful... Maybe this isn't much better

Zaitzev continuing to be penny wise pound foolish.
He killed, or tried to kill, Clint’s long term deal with WB because he hasn’t had a huge hit lately despite having a good track record with the studio creatively, box office wise, and consistently bringing in pictures on time and on budget.
I bet Lady Gaga’s wardrobe in Joker 2 cost as much as this one.

Nothing, it looks like. Your tweet is the only source I can find with any mention of dumping and no marketing. Is the well-received trailer not marketing?
Every Google search result i see for this movie is stuff from past few days, profiles of cast and characters, a Clint Eastwood piece. In other words, marketing.
The film is closing the AFI fest (more exposure, a form of marketing), then opening in theaters a few days later, 11/1. Not having plans to expand from a limited release yet makes sense, because those plans are dictated by how much money the film makes in those limited theaters. This is called the platform strategy. They slow roll or expand quickly based on how the film is doing.
Feels like a pundit with Box Office in his name would know this. I wonder if he's using alarmist language to get more engagement...

He made Richard Jewell which is one of thread most underrated and important films of the last decade.

To be fair, getting out of business with someone in their mid 90s probably won't come back to bite you in the arse.
