Outside of ole Dick Grayson,
Just go get Bruce Timm to oversee the universe and give us a goddamn Nightwing movie already.
What is so hard about that?

David Goyer is writing Lethal Weapon in Space. That's what the article says.

Honestly...is there anyone around DC that has had his finger on the pulse of what makes these characters go more than this guy since the early 90's? Having Timm be DC's Kevin Feige was such an obvious move, and yet they decided to attempt to completely reinvent the wheel after Marvel had literally taught the entire world what a comic universe in the movies was. All they needed to do was do DC's versions using the same basic blueprint, and blamo...but nah.

Just shut up and give them your money already. They make comic movie, you go to it, you give money. Good human.
Yeah I gotta admit, I will totally go see this unless the trailers are absolutely horrible. I love the Green Lantern and own the terrible Ryan Reynolds version on DVD. DCMU can burn me a dozen times but I am a sucker for the Corps.

Before this is over, we're going to see Breesus on CNN, handcuffed and dressed as Nightwing, being dragged from Bruce Timm's lawn.

Armie Hammer's been teasing a lot stuff about this lately. I wouldn't be surprised if he's already locked in for Hal Jordan.

I know Hammer's been teasing DCU stuff with the Batman people. I'd love to see him and Cavill together again. They were great as a team in Man from UNCLE.

Until WB decided to go the route of having an older Batman, I was in favor of Hammer playing Bats along side Cavill's Superman.

Yeah, that is shite, go with Kyle and make it after the Corps fall. Bank on some of that Star Wars feels dumb arse DC>

The first LW was actually pretty dark and moody in parts. Remember, Riggs was crazy suicidal in that one. It was sequels that lightened up the tone in that series.

Now the question becomes which will come first?
The Green Lantern Film?
OR
Deadpool 2's preemptive mocking of it?

Are you looking in my windows at night? Because that costume is a joke. I wear it as a joke.....

Hammer continues to frick with the fans about the possibility of his being Green Lantern.
Now Cavill has jumped on board.

There are two possible reason why this headline exists.
1.) DC can't find anyone else that's good enough to write Greeb Lantern because no one worth a shite wants to be associated with the nuclear disaster Zack Snyder calls a comic book cinematic universe and they're stuck with the crackhead/fat chick in Goyer.
Call that being up shite creek and they know there's nothing they can do about it.
2.) DC has absolutely not learned their lessons after all from BvS and MoS and thinks Snyder's bullshite and anyone associated with making those movies is fine and can actually sell tickets.
Call that being dumb shits that are gluttons for punishment.

Eloquent.
I'd think that the red flag associated with Green Lantern has more to do with the 2011 film than anything that Snyder has done.

I just... I don't... I just don't get it. I'm a lawyer who used to do civil litigation. If I were to write a bad brief, a brief so bad that the judge, the partners, the otherwise er side, the court reporter, the little girl lost in the corner of the courthouse high on acid, and her pet fricking parakeet all laughed at just how bad it was, I would be fired. Swiftly and without mercy. Even if the damn thing resulted in a moderate success for the client.
How the frick has the WB simply turned a blind eye to the horrendous films and scripts churned out by Goyer, Snider and Ayer? Are they masochists?
It's the biggest mystery in Hollywood right now but one thing is pretty clear; there's no accountable and competent leadership at WB and DC that has the balls to nuke Snyder's universe.

Aside from this news, which was very surprising, I do think WB is starting to make smart decisions. I'm very excited for Matt Reeves Batman version, they're going after Matthew Vaughn for MOS 2, and Mel Gibson for SS 2. I think those are great moves by the studio.

BTW, word is that The Batman is probably pushed to a 2018 start, since Reeves is finishing up the Planet of the Apes film and is obligated to help Fox promote it this Summer. He'll need the Fall for pre-production on The Batman.
