are we going with characters in their prime during the time of the show? Or characters who where in the show but when they are at their prime. I ask because according to the books prime Robert Baratheon was an absolute savage that no one could best in one on on.
at the time of the show though he had gotten so fat old and lazy he would be easy pickings.
I guess top tier during time of the show
Syrio Forel would be my pick. He took out gold cloaks and Kingsguard with a goddamned wooden sword before they were able to swarm him. You give that man an actual blade and a clumsy knight in full armor would die by death from a thousand cuts.
