It has a chance. It was beautiful and had a good story.

I do not think it will win, though. It will win best animated movie.

It's easily the best movie I've seen this year, which isn't saying much considering studios tend to sit on their top films. But it also may be the best movie I've seen in the theater in a few years.

Is it deserving? Well, yes. it should be considered.

That said, there's no way the Academy is giving an animated movie a Best Picture Oscar, no matter how deserving.

I don't get it. Two robots falling in love that don't talk = boring. I must not be deep enough.

Yeah. You aren't very deep. Have you actually seen the movie or just regurgitating what others have written? Hands down the best movie I have seen all year...SO FAR.

It is the best movie I have seen this year as well. It deserves at least a nod for a BP nomination.

No, I actually did see it and found myself waiting for it to end. And I'm usually not very critical on movies. There are a lot of movies that I really enjoyed that I see people ripping on here all the time. Difference of opinion I guess. Would you rate wall-e above Finding Nemo or The Lion King. These are probably the only two animated movies that I would highly recommend to someone. I thought Ice Age and Aladin were pretty good too. I've never seen Cars or Toy Story though.

Animation was great, but I thought it was a terrible movie. I have not met anyone that enjoyed the story. Maybe it was because of the hype, but I was disappointed (as were my kids).

It was decent but as I watched it I realized how much of a piece of crap, tree hugging, hippy loving, conservation preachin, humanity is a bunch of idiots, green peace humans are destroying the earth movie it was that by the end I was more aggrevated than anything else.

Although it was nothing like how angry I got sitting in that POS call Indiana Jones.

jimi, baby - you must be slippin some of your own crack in between the lines in the story. Why not just look at the pretty colors and go, "Wow - man, cooool".

I saw it and no way in hell was it better than Iron Man.

Damn dude...lighten up. The film is obviously aimed at children. My two step daughters age 9/10 loved it. When I asked them what did that movie try to teach them they said..."Don't be lazy and keep the Earth clean." Now I'm no tree hugger, but it ain't so bad the message they came away with from the movie. It's adults that assign labels to the movie's message/theme and distort into thier own political views like you did. I assure you my kids did not feel like pieces of crap or human idiots after the movie.

I thought it was a wonderful movie, and at times the sound and visual poetry left me awe-struck, especially the scene where wall-e and eve were dancing in space.

I liked it a lot, and agree with this statement.

I enjoyed Iron Man more, but Wall-E is definitely right there with it. I haven't seen anything else this year near those two

Why do I feel like you're throwing a Natty Ice can into your backyard right now?

Because you are obviously someone who likes to stereotype people.

Wall-E was visually spectacular but the global worming type theme just screamed at me too much. I was waiting for Al Gore's name to appear in the credits as a consulting editor.
