Wish they'd reduce the cast by 90% and go back on the road.

A change of scenery would be nice. A few truck load of originals plus Neagan need to hit the road maybe back south through the Carolinas then down to Florida to see what’s going on. Gregory, Ezekiel, Eugene, Aaron and Jesus can stay behind.

I guess that's Rosita, but damn, all that makeup is confusing and unattractive.

It feels strange having to point this out, but that's not Rosita.

It seems the sensible thing to do was move everyone up stairs. have a teams at the bottoms of each stair well with piles. As zombies come you brain them. you have teams rotating in and out, and move upstairs as the zombies advance. Create an Alamo point and start shooting if when the zombies advance past it.

Why not just put a chain across the walkway. It's not like the walkers are smart enough to move it. A nice heavy chain could certainly hold up a couple dead ones and create a jam.

This is what they should have done in night of the living dead.

Everyone should have gotten on the roof, and they should have knocked out the stairs. There was an upstairs bathroom if they needed water.

i'm just spitballing here, but maybe the walkers haven't been there for three weeks like it feels like IRL.. how much time has passed on the show since they were led there?

Not much I don't think. It keeps jumping times from before the attack to during (and even after a good bit like in the first episode).

Finished watching last night. Meh. A Eugene-centric episode doesn't do jack shite for me. And I absolutely hate how hard the writers try to make him sound like a fricking sociopath who is incapable of speaking simply at all times. In the past it was kinda weird/cool/funny with how he talked sometimes. But now they've turned him into a caricature that literally can't answer simple questions and state simple statements without trying to sound like a thesaurus. It's stupid.

Speaking of stupid: Rick's plan. So just show up to the garbage facility and threaten to kill everyone. And they're supposed to roll with it and not kill you? Bold strategy. It's even weirder that Rick can be stripped down and help in a container, and he still is confident as all get out, and talks mad shite and threatens to kill them all. Why? Because of what I said last week...there are no consequences for Rick. And he (the character) knows it, and they are writing him that way. Same with Negan...we saw him last night say that he won't die, because he's "too good at this shite" or something like that. And his actions confirm that, which is why he can stand out in front of 50 people trying to kill him (including fricking snipers), and it doesn't happen.

I laughed hard when Rosita all of a sudden tried to act like she was above making idiot decisions and fricking things up for everybody. That was hilarious.

Question that hit me last night: Can walkers ascend stairs? I feel like they shouldn't really be able to, or at least not on their feet, because they don't have the mental capacity to recognize stairs as having to life each foot and climb them. So once you barricade the bottom steps (with anything, can even be dead walkers) you should be 100% safe from walkers trying to get upstairs.

For the first time ever for me with this show, I am glad the finale is next week. And for the wrong reasons.

That's TWO 101. It's why they have an entire show after the episodes dedicated to telling us how awesome the show was/is. If you have to always point out how EPIC and AWESOME and MIND-BLOWING the show is, then it is very likely none of those things. It's people "OMGLOVE"-ing the show no matter what the quality is or has become, simply because they love "the brand."

And I appreciated this joke more than most apparently:

Remember the one that walked up in the rv and ended up attacking Andrea in S2?

Yea i had the same question but im guessing they can slowly and awkwardly by themselves. As a group they would stumble all over each other and it would make the process extremely slow. I imagine they could crawl up as well. Its a good question though with how inconsistent this show has been with their abilities. And to not know at this point really shows the gaping holes of this show.

Cant wait until this show ends so i can stop inevitably sighing while i still hit the button to tune in. This show could have been so much more, but i guess they have to dumb it down enough to the general public who only craves action! action! action! no matter how pointless it is to the overall story development.

Better episode than last week. This show would get back on track if Tara died.

That was basically my process as well. In theory, they should fall over at the base of the stairs, and then I guess try to climb/drag themselves up slowly. That's why a minimal barrier should hold them at bay.

It was S1 when that one literally hopped the fence and went after Rick. Hilarious (ignore the audio).

I wish they were still as such a threat as the s1 and s2 corpses.

Now they're nothing.
