I think everyone hates Dale

I kind of agree with this. They are being total dicks to the kid, and he really does not deserve any of it.

Someone like Dale wouldn't have survived this long in a real post apocalyptic world. Zombies or no zombies.

Looks like we're finally seeing the influence of the new show runner

Other than sniping at Rick, Glenn, and Hershel from that rooftop.

Would anyone like to discuss the symbolism of the walker walking across the field in the middle and end of the episode.
I thought it was the same scene they were showing again at the end, but when I re-watched the first time it happened neither Shane nor Rick had any blood or buises on their forehead.

ahh, I forgot about that

You mean that wasn't Hershel stumbling back home drunk?

eventually no matter where you are the walkers are going to find you. He was out in the middle of no where with no houses, people, or noises.

Shane contemplating the solitary existence. Should he go it alone

That's what I was thinking

The episode was good when it followed Rick and Shane and then awful the half involving the women.

Great episode, i think the symbolism was shanes internal feeling of being alone.

A thing they just mentioned on Talking Dead was when Shane cut his hand to get blood while on the bus, wasn't that the same knife that was used on the security guard?

Not sure. I found it interesting they kept the cast small for this episode. No Darryl, T-Dawg, Dale, Glenn, Carol

I think there is more action watching Kevin Smith burn calories than on this show overall. I just don't see how this Talking Dead show is necessary.

Me either but this would be an awesome thing for HBO to do with Game Of Thrones
