Wait just a damn minute, US Marshals is a sequel to The Fugitive?

Holy crap. I never knew this. I’ve only ever seen US Marshals. The Fugitive is on AMC tonight and Tommy Lee Jones’ team looked familiar so I compared the cast. THEY'RE ALL THE SAME CHARACTERS!!!

It’s not a true sequel since it doesn’t advance the previous storyline, but yeah.

Yes. Snipes does a great job in it as well. Snipes has always been underrated IMO.

i was born in '89. so i was 3-4 or maybe even 5 when the fugitive came out. i might've seen it. don't remember though.


eta: i've never seen air force one from beginning to end either. or any other harrison ford movie. not even the indy series.

I’m not going to lie I found this out a year ago... So is Double Jeopardy anyway involved with Us Marshals and The Fugitive?

Don't worry, I never realized this either . I was very young when both came out, so I wouldn't remember how it was marketed at the time, and obviously the titles of the movies don't necessarily suggest a sequel.

I've seen the Fugitive a bunch, only saw US Marshals once when I was really young, so I never noticed that it's the same cast outside of TLJ. I always kinda had this weird disdain for US Marshals because I took it as a cheap knockoff of the Fugitive. Guess I'll have to re-watch
