First season was a pretty novel concept and quite watchable.

Alas, it's turned into a woe-is-me rehash of 30 Something.

I watched a good portion of one episode but couldn't make it thru. Given the choice, I'd take Hallmark Channel over watching that show.

I work till 830 on Tuesday nights and usually see about half of each episode when I get home and eat dinner. My wife watches it religiously. Seems to be pretty well done for a network show.

I loved season 1, but the fat lard chick is making it unwatchable.

My wife watches it and loves it. I've watched a few episodes and it was just average. Much of what that show is about is a carbon copy of her life so she identifies with more than most I suspect

I tried to get interested. Just don't think it is great acting or great writing. I'll admit, I like diverse stuff and won't not watch something just because someone wants to put a label on who watches it. This show just got a little tiresome for me and I felt like the acting was overdone, or maybe trite is the better description. But hey, it is wildly popular so obviously, they are appealing to a lot of people.

I am a heterosexual married man with 4 kids and I love this show! My wife got me into it after the first episode and I was hooked. I have not been into a drama show like this ever in my life but I think this show has helped me explore my fatherly side and help me be a better father because of Jack's good qualities.

Almost every episode something in it parallels to my wife and I's relationship. Like for example, I turned my wife into a bigger football fan after we met (Congrats to her Eagles for winning it all this year). My oldest son has the heart of Randall. My dad had an only brother who he was best friends with and he died young.

This show and also The Good Doctor (my middle son has Autism like the main character) are must watch shows for my wife and I and I never thought I would be into these kind of shows.

I watched the first half of season 1 and thought it was great. Reminded of Parenthood, ensemble cast, lots of family and life drama (life issues drama, not kardashian drama)

When it started back after the holidays I didn't care enough to set the DVR or keep up. I don't really miss it. So in retrospect it was probably not that great, I was just hopped on whiskey, edibles, and xanax a lot during that time period.

ETA: I guess I watched most of season 1. Last show I remember was when the heavy set fella had a heart attack and crashed into the coffee table, and then a bunch of drama about whether or not to have surgery.

I've been thinking about checking out S2 when I get through the new Amazon and Netflix shows.

I catch it with my wife sometimes but I don't make it a big weekly event like she does. What I've seen though I've enjoyed, and there are some really well-written scenes. One scene in S1 involving a suicidal character actually made me gasp.

I like Milo's character. Funny too because my wife is really into Gilmore Girls too and I frickin hate Jess.

I LOVE the Good Doctor, but boys who use term “baws” probably do not.

The girlfriend watched one episode and said it was stupid. The same girlfriend who binges on hallmark.

It's literally worse than hallmark. Let that sink in.

Someone who likes Hallmark doesn't like it, somehow makes it worse than Hallmark?
