The first episode dropped today on Showtime/Paramount+, it’s basically leading up to the Oklahoma City bombing. Some of the same actors are picking up their roles in this.

Spoilers

I don’t know how true it was when the Judge basically handpicked a jury for the survivors on trial, but I’m definitely interested on how they portray it.

I really enjoyed Waco, but it seemed pretty biased. I don’t really believe Koresh was just some religious eccentric like he was portrayed in the series. He was a madman, likely a paranoid schizophrenic.
To be clear, the govt absolutely fricked up the whole situation. But I think he was cast in too favorable of a light in the series.

I watched the old series last week to prepare for this. I had forgotten how mad the series made me. I hope this wasn't made to try to convince the general public that the U.S. needs stricter gun controls, or even more funding to watch people that don't like what's going on with our government. That would be a 360 compared to the original series.

I just watched the first episode it wasn't great.

The new guy playing david is a major downgrade and the fact i don't recognize any of the survivors standing trial is weird.
