He never had a chance to surrender. They opened fire right when they entered the compound.
Do you honestly think you are going to surrender after something like that has happened?
Continue to believe the lie.

Did koresh really cuck other men? His black disciple too ?
Posted on 4/19/20 at 9:36 pm to Boo Krewe
I believe he did. Some very twisted beliefs. Not a reason to attack his compound.

Go watch the documentary Waco: rules of engagement. It shows just how awful the US Government was in how they handled this situation. The feds set up machine gun nests in the back of the compound. The tank spraying tear has was pushing the people inside to the back exit of the compound. When the people tried to escape outside they were shot. It clearly shows this on video. There was a helicopter filming all this with Flir technology. The guy that invented Flir was brought in to analyze the tape clearly points out the bursts of heat as gunfire.

The Feds had it to get the warrants
No they didn't.The only "evidence" they had was a tip from s UPS driver about delivering ammo, grenade hulls and gun pjarts. The warrant had nothing to do with child abuse or polygamy.DFACS in Texas also found no evidence of child abuse earlier. Long read but lots of things were wrong with the warrant.
Koresh was no saint but the raid and murders by the FBI and ATF was one collosal screw up after another.Korish could have been arrested at any number a places before the raid.

Pretty witty spin Koresh put on the dudes. Sex clouded the male mind and beliefs/decision making. Everyone had to abstain from sex to really believe. Koresh took on that burden of sin for everyone by satisfying the women’s desires. He enjoyed none of it, just something he had to do as he was mentally stronger than the others and could handle it.

There are a few people here that have some association with the ATF group that was involved at Waco. They defend them because they refuse to see those frickers lied their arse off and went after citizens for piss poor reasons.

Koresh was fricking 12-year-olds and the group was stockpiling AKs and ARs and converting them to fully automatic. It is also alleged that they had hand grenades and other explosives. Koresh was a piece of shite whom I believe ordered that fire to be started. He is wholly responsible for the deaths of all those people. frick him in his dead a-hole.
Kids had nothing to do with the ATF raid. The automatic weapons is also controversial due to the nature of the destroyed evidence and contamination of the scene. They actually lost evidence that was key to the investigation that might have favored the defense. Like the front doors for example. They labeled random shite as silencers and their own smoke canisters as grenades. Full account of the weapons that was found wasn't even allowed by the defense last time I checked.

The Feds had it to get the warrants. Koresh should have allowed the feds to execute the warrant. Or do you only believe in “law and order” when it suits your purpose?
You literally know very little about this case. If you had read the warrant, you would know they based it off of lies. They (factually proven) lied to the governor of Texas about drugs to get the guard involved so they could get helis. The ATF was scared of the incoming president and getting shitcanned as an organization of the government. This was a big show so they could show how important and awesome they were to keep their budget. The agents they put in there even tried to stop them from doing the raid because the Davidians knew it was coming. This was also supposed to be a knock raid, knock and then if there is resistance, then force. The ATF went in guns hot and never even tried to knock. The agents who immediately killed the dogs were probably the ones that started the gun fight.

He could have surrendered and gone through the legal process. Had a fair trial, etc. I mean, don’t you frickers keep yelling “rule of law!!!” All the fricking time? frick off. I have spoken.
The Davidians that did survive and get out did not get a fair trial. Some of them went to jail. It took many years of them rotting in jail before they got a fair trial because angry government was embarrassed.
Two good reads on the subject: Waco by David Thibodeau and Stalling for Time by Gary Noesner

Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a bureau of the federal government.

The sheriff said he had little question that if they (the ATF) had asked him to serve the warrant, there would have been no trouble.
Koresh called the ATF field office and asked if they had a warrant out for him (he had been tipped off and they must have known it then). They hung up on him.
It is speculated he might have turned himself in to avoid the possibility of a stand off at the compound.
The ATF and FBI mishandled every single aspect of this investigation, regardless of what one might think of Koresh and the cult itself.

quote:Excellent insights as always. However, I do not think it is fair to call them a cult. They had highly unorthodox and objectionable beliefs. But they did not prevent adherents from leaving the compound or their religious organization. They were a religious sect, not a cult. The ATF and the FBI focused on the controversial aspects of their belief system immediately in order to create the narrative (fairly successfully) that they (in the end) got what they deserved. Absolutely sickening.

Happy for you, my brother - unfortunately that means I can't even vicariously get promoted to general.

I got the message loud and clear last month. An individual who has been in the NCR for the past seven years was selected over me. No command time (BN or BDE). Just time on the DA and OSD staff. Time to head to the house.

I think it is fair or getting close to fair. He took people's wives and made them his wives and had kids with them. He did shite to kids. There was a fair amount of brainwashing.
None of that gives the ATF a case though, they weren't there to deal with any of that. That just made for a good show for the ATF to attack a group like that.

This whole ordeal was a shite show. There was plenty of blame to go around both with law enforcement and Koresh. A lot of innocent people that didn’t need to die died

And that's what matters at the end of the day. The ATF went into Waco fully armed and loaded for battle when they knew there were women and children inside the compound.
They could have arrested Koresh in town had they chose to do so but the ATF wanted to make a big splash by arresting Koresh with his stash of guns at the compound.
