Just binged it over a single evening, really good and extremely disturbing at the same time, but the political side of it is probably better discussed on a different board

I’m not sure there are many people out there that are gonna be pro US Gov in Waco/Ruby Ridge debates

I happened upon it and, to my surprise, binged it right through. Well done.

Taylor Kitsch salvaged his career with this role. He was phenomenal as Koresh, and made him a realistic, terribly flawed, person.

Not pro government in the Waco event and even less so with Ruby Ridge..what they did was criminal....but that dude Koresh was a sick pedophile and deserved to be under a prison.

Amazed that they were willing to be critical of the ATF and FBI actions. Regardless as to the beliefs of the Davidians, they did not deserve to be murdered by their government.

He is pretty good

He also did well playing the hero in Lone Survivor, glad his career didn't get derailed by the Martian movie. I didn't realize he is almost 40, but what the H is 1981 doing being 39 years ago anyway?

That was a great book series and I even liked the movie, guess the appeal wasn't broad enough.

Why didn't the FBI just release animals in the compound? Like the armies of old

I liked the series. I never realized this is how it went down. I thought the acting for Koresh was week. I didn’t believe him as a convincing charismatic person.

Still would like for someone to explain to me what law the Davidians broke that required the ATF to serve a warrant. Particularly one that required the degree of force they used.

Koresh was fricking 12-year-olds and the group was stockpiling AKs and ARs and converting them to fully automatic. It is also alleged that they had hand grenades and other explosives.

Koresh was a piece of shite whom I believe ordered that fire to be started. He is wholly responsible for the deaths of all those people. frick him in his dead a-hole.

And you have evidence of all of this?

Yeah, I thought so.

Let’s protect the children by assaulting the compound and then eventually burning it to the ground. That will protect them.

Haven’t watched. Does it make the fbi and atf look good in any way?

If it does I want no part of it

The Feds had it to get the warrants. Koresh should have allowed the feds to execute the warrant. Or do you only believe in “law and order” when it suits your purpose?

Koresh is responsible for all of that. He started the fricking fire. He could have let the children go. He could have surrendered and gone through the legal process. Had a fair trial, etc. I mean, don’t you frickers keep yelling “rule of law!!!” All the fricking time? frick off.

I have spoken.
