I'm still amazed McFarlane was never drug through court by Marvel after making Venom. Then going on to make Spawn a black and white symbiote suit that can morph into various armaments and change appearances.
I'm hoping we get a little montage of Peter in the suit before it finds Eddie. Just flashes of Kraven, being super destructive, beating the sinister six half to death, stuff like that then getting it removed.

Venom will be the hero, though I'm sure he'll have a dark side. The villain is supposed to be Carnage.

Peter won't be in this. Sony is developing its own extended Spidyverse without Spiderman. Black Cat and Silver Sable are supposedly next.

Wow, how will this work if Spiderman is not even part of the framework? I think the 2004 Catwoman movie was made in a universe without Batman.
