Russell Brand came to my mind, although "acting genius" is stretching it.

ETA: Also, depends on what they mean by "middle aged". Brand is 40.

Not to mention Brand has been sober for over a decade. He works for the reform of rehab in the UK, and seems like a good guy when you get past his schtick
