i mean people on here would rather swallow a sword than watch it, but i don't think it's that bad.

ETA: the cop friend, Mark, is hysterical.

Carnivale. One of my favorite shows, yet I've never actually met anyone who has seen it and it gets no interest on this board.

I've only seen the first season, but I loved it.

I think it's one of the rare HBO shows to get cancelled.

Same here, wound up canceling HBO between the first and second seasons, but the first season was awesome. Still need to go back and watch the second season sometime. I think Carnivale was just a victim of bad timing, these days it probably would have been a big hit.

I was a fan of How To Make it in America on HBO

Dissapointed it was cancelled but the ratings were terrible

Great thread Cocomo.

I agree with Cougartown, Carpoolers, and obviously Freaks and Geeks.

Btw Cocomo since you like Freaks and Geeks, you should check out Undeclared if you haven't already. Awesome sitcom by the same crew as F&G.

I also watch Vampire Diaries and One Tree Hill. Haven't met a whole lot of folks, other than Mrs. Voodoo, to discuss those two with.

Wait, is that official??? That sucks if true. Great show.

Also, anybody ever watch any of Aliens in America? I thought that show was hilarious. Sucked it got cancelled. The main character is now Travis on Cougartown.

I watched Outsourced, didn't find it incredibly hilarious, but definitely watchable.

American Gothic

Dark Shadows (the reboot, doomed for failure by premiering on Friday nights)

And the Comedy Central game show, Beat the Geeks.

Ed, first and foremost. It was my favorite show that was on at the time.
I'd like to second the recommendation for Cocomo, "Undeclared". Fantastic show.
I absolutely loved Carnivale and by the end of the second season it left me wanting more.
I watch Whitney with the wife and don't dislike it and I also watch Are you there Chelsea. I find Chelsea's roommate DeeDee to be hilarious.
