In... as long as they continue the trend of no canine deaths.

They are mindless action movies so the plot doesn’t need to be Shakespeare. With that said I feel like 5 movies is going to get stale, how many times can he retire/unretire?

That was the point, after Daisy's cervical spine injury during Tarasov's break-in they haven't killed any other dogs. When I saw the first one I had just lost a dog about 3 days prior and it kinda ruined the escapism of a shoot em up.

Anybody want to make some plot predictions? Other than the obvious shoot em up aspect, I feel like the formula has to go a couple of ways:
1. John finally gets over death of his wife and a love interest enters the picture. He is retired but she is threatened and he goes back to killing to protect her. (Or maybe they go SJW and the love interest is a trans BIPOC? Nah...)
2. He takes a protege for some reason and teaches the new younger version of himself the ropes. Then has to bail the kid out for something the kid does, that JW told him not to do, and that requires John to unretire and kick some arse.
Feel like it has to go one, or maybe both, of these way.

Why do people think he always retires/unretires? He only did that twice, once before the first movie, then after the first movie. The end of 2 and the end of three do not point to retiring.
John ends 3 "pissed off." 4 is going to start in another action sequence with him on the tail of the High Table.

Hard not to like and respect Keanu Reeves. Everything I've ever read about him has been overwhelmingly positive. His projects seem to print money too but I'll wish him success anyway.

I find it's already stale. The first one was great but meh after that.

I want to set up a Dolby Atmos system at home just for these movies.

If Hollywood continues down the path they appear to be headed, then get ready for John Woke.
