These nastaligia threads recently (especially this and Jurassic Park) make me realize how much I hate lazy reliance on CGI and corporate/studio meddling with a director and writer.

I read a story today about the filming location of the first tornado where they hide under the bridge and the yellow truck gets wrecked.
About ten years ago, a tornado actually hit that farm where they filmed and wrecked the property.
