I wouldn't say it SUCKED, but Walking Dead season 1 was so much better than 2 and 3.

A lot of TV shows start to dwindle after the first season or two, because production goes up with success and the show loses the essence of what made it great to begin with.

everything after the first season of heroes sucked.
walking dead was bad at times in the second season and then just terrible in the third

To say you like season 1 better is one thing, but to say season 2 sucked is just comical. Not sure ive ever seen a show rated 96(2nd highest on TV behind breaking bad) and won the Emmy for best drama have the word "sucked" when describing it.

Season 1 was genius and essentially perfect television. Season 2 was incredible, but still somewhat less perfect than the first.

Season 2 with Lena Olin was amazing. Season 3 was great as well. 4 and 5 I'll give you but 2 and 3 were not worse than 1.
