Dan I want to see the senator go down but just doesn't look feasible with 1 hour left.

Some where really stretching with that BS. Rust dying was kind of obvious about his closing the circle comment, but I didn't think Marty would go too, until I found out neither will be back next season. I just don't know where the writers will take it if the Senator goes down and they find the Yellow King.
Each season is completely different. Different writers, different plot, different actors

He may not go down but no way in he'll he doesn't know what's going on. Still wondering in the man with scares (lawnmower man) and the tall man are the same person.

Yea I think so...pretty clear at this point it has to be.

Do Rust and Marty die and the two black detectives take over next season to continue the case??? If so we will be stuck waiting to figure this out for a while..

Went through next's week preview. Some interesting stuff.
Voiceover - "It's been weeks since I left my mark". Sounds like Scarred Man's voice.
Scarred Man's house?
Voiceover - "Would that they had eyes to see" - Scarred Man's voice.
Looks like a man that is captured?
Voiceover - "This is Carcosa" - Scarred Man's voice.
You can see black stars and other iconography behind Marty.
Shot of what seems to be looking up from some kind of pit or hole in the ground up to the sky.
Some lady telling Marty - "He's gonna come for you. He's worse than anybody" - referring to Scarred Man?
Shot of someone looking through a rifle scope.
Is that the sheriff that Marty and Rust have on the boat? Kind of looks like him and his car that Marty commented on tonight after they played golf.
Shot of the rifleman. Is that Rust's boss/bar owner we met tonight? Rust told Marty tonight that the man's son went missing in the 80s. Is his son one of the suspected victims? Does Rust have more help from other victims' families?
Marty putting his gun to the woman's head. I can't make out what she is saying.
Looks like next week is going to be awesome!

I was under the impression that each season has it's own story/case. No relation to other seasons

And I just answered two of my own questions.
The guy in the rifle sights is definitely the sheriff.
Has on the same clothes as he had on the boat and that is his car.
Again, the shot of through the rifle sight-
Sheriff's car-
Sheriff's clothing on the boat-
And the rifleman really looks like Rust's boss.
Shot of the rifleman-
Rust's boss-
Looks like the same guy and his bar had all kinds of stuffed/taxidermied animals and hunting trophies in the bar.
And for people asking earlier, here is the shot of the photo of Maggie and her new husband.

so im a little confused about reggie ledoux's role in the killings.... was he one of the masked men? or just helped kidnap and drug the kids, but not actually take part in the ritualistic sacrifices.

I think Maggie's dad is definitely involved. Would make sense with the 2 daughters' behavior...the naked barbie doll setup and older daughter being the way she is and having threesomes in the car. Could it be possible that the grandfather exposed them to the situation, but didn't let it go as far as the other kids??
Don't think the Yellow King is an actual person. I think it's just a mythology put into the abducted children's head by the cult.
Also, I wonder how Rust's kid really died. Was she really hit by a car or could there be more to that story?
Just a few of my theories, but I could be way off. Why couldn't they have made this season at least 10 episodes

until this last episode I didn't think Maggie or daughter Audrey were involved but now for some reason I believe they will be part of the ending in some way ....
Not saying directly involved but affect the ending in some way ....
and yes easily could have been 10 episodes ....

I don't see how they wrap up everything in a single one hour episode. This series deserves better than that.
Come on man, have they not delivered so far? Always somebody to whine

Gotta be

She had to have married the guy she met in the bar.. No other reason for that scene.

Like somebody said earlier in the season, it's probably an alter or the place/church where the ritualistic sacrifices happen.

Possible, might be why he ended up working for the guy that owns the bar. Both of their kids were victims.

I believe none of Maggie's family is involved. I'm pretty sure Errol is the killer and everyone else from the cult is dead.

Everyone on here after last weeks previews of this episode said that was Marty's daughter either in the pics or video. What ever happened with that?
I never saw her
