Shocker, andy greenwald said maggie banging rust set back the feminist movement 30 years. Shows portrayal of women is terrible, yada yada yada. That stick must be so far up his arse he can feel it in his throat.

The people that look at a character in a TV show as a representative of an entire gender does more harm for the feminist movement than anything in a fictional show.

What will Greenwald say if Maggie ends up being the mastermind/matriarch of the cult?

Was Marty "glad" to see Rust when he pulled over in the last scene? He had that shite eatin' grin when he saw it was Rust or was it more like a you son of a bitch thing? I think he was glad to see him.
Also - I've been going HAM on the reddit TD sub forum correcting the frick out of some dumbass on there. Lord have mercy some people are dumb as rocks. Someone on there has a theory that every scene with Southern Live Oak trees has a meaning. damn things are everywhere down here.

This thread has similar moments as well. I find it astonishing that people actually believe that Rust stops Hart BEFORE the interview. Seriously, on what planet would that make sense? People are mind-fricking themselves.
As for the episode, I found it to be a necessary evil. It certainly didn't pack the punches of the E5, but it laid an interesting groundwork for the final two episodes. I think reports of the death of TD are greatly exagerrated.

My theory, they hang the devil nets when they perform a ritual on a girl, so when the demon leaves her body it gets caught by the net.
Mixing meth and acid will make you feel like a psycho. I'm guessing they drug the girls and when they start acting crazy they have to "exercise her demons."

Complete BS.
That award goes to "Lonesome Dove".

If you add the prison stripes, don't forget the "You Gon' Get Raped" caption...

I tried searching, but no way am I going back through 60 pages...
Questions:
Do you all think that Rust really did or did not want the files for the Wellspring schools?
Also, do you think him declining the invite to go meet with the file clerk was because he didn't think he would get anything or because he wanted Tuttle to know/think that he either didn't really need them or that he already had the info he needed?

he knew it was BS about the files. he wasn't going to waste his time with some clerk when it was obvious no files existed (at least none that he could ever see)
What he accomplished was confirming that Tuttle was involved in at least some kind of conspiracy and maybe more. he knew he was barking up the right tree

If they were using the school to get kids for their rituals and they called it Wellspring, that's just another level of creepy.

He may be interested in the files but I think it was more to get a read on Tuttle's reaction. Remember Rust says he has not spent 10 minutes interrogating someone without knowing if they were guilty.
