That premiere was pretty damn meh. You sign up Chris Meloni and he's not in the premiere. You bring Russell back and he's not in the premiere. Pretty damn underwhelming.

I bet you Newlin ends up with Russell

How in the hell are these Vampire Authority goons so powerful that Northman can't sense them coming? Are there that many super powerful vamps out there in the True Blood universe?
Posted on 6/10/12 at 9:09 pm to hsfolk
sucks for Pam to have Tara as her child
Posted on 6/10/12 at 9:13 pm to iluvdatiger
Guess I'm the only one who doesn't mind Tara.

Haven't seen the episode but Eric made it out to be quite impressive for any Vamp to be older and stronger than himself. Which is what made Godric and Russel so awesome.
But now we have beau coup Vamps on or exceeding his level?

ramp up the boobage.
Werewolf chick turns human TWICE and covers up with long hair like the little fricking mermaid and then Eric fricks his "sister" in a cargo container but she keeps her bra on.
ETA: Oh and Tara is still on the show. Worst season premier ever.

I thought this episode was great. Pissed off that Tara survived though.

I still don't get how Eric is so powerless against the Authority. I know some of the officers are human, but how do they recruit such bad asses to be cops?
I'm guessing Bill is going to convince the Authority that Edgington is the real threat and will let him and Eric go. Eric's "sister" will not be off the hook though, since she betrayed the Authority (imo).
Will Edgington be the arch nemesis for the whole season?

The incest storyline with Eric and Nora is intersting and bold.
Jessica was good in this one. Love how she defended her so called "property".
I thought the preview for the rest of the season looked great. Here's hoping it doesn't dissapoint.
Also that scene with the guy being dragged into that dark room, that has to be Russell Edgington right or is it some new creepy bad arse mofo?

Fingers crossed that Tara improves as a character now that she's a vampire, but I highly doubt it.
Cool to see that they added Meloni and Mensah (the black dude from Spartacus/300), but I'm mostly just watching this since GoT and Mad Men ended and it's another month+ before Breaking Bad starts. This morning, I had to force myself to watch the last 3 episodes of the previous season since I lost interest.

Pretty sure that was Russell. And I think bill, Eric, and Russell team up to an extent. Enemy of my enemy type of thing. HBO loves them some incest. Wtf was the point of Eric bending his sister over.

I assumed it was food for Edgington. He is vain and wouldn't want to be seen out and about until he was healed.

HBO needs to invest in some servers.
HBOGO is getting crushed.

Well, from what we saw, he sure ate heartily.

I think the previews hinted at this. Russell doesn't like the authiority and Eric and Bill are at edges with them now.

Well, in a show about vampires, werewolves, fairies, witches and ghosts, I guess HBO needed some shock value for the premiere and it worked. Even on me.
ETA: For example, the incest storyline you saw tonight and the rarely used tool of killing off a character in the first episode of the season.

It's not his biological sister, they were just each made into vampires by Godric, so they refer to each other as "brother" and "sister." They're still OK to frick.

Ah, I totally forgot Nora saying this about Godric as they were walking at the port to their container. I dumb.

can't believe so many people in this thread missed that. At first i was like "his sister, WTF does he mean by that" and then i guess it was her who said Godric was her maker....oh ok, they had the same vampire "father" so they are "siblings"
I like them building things up, return of russel, alcide being a badass. Can't wait to see Meloni as the head of the authority.
I also agree, that damned werewolf chik should have showed her hooters. We also should have seen sookie's boobs and I want a full look at jessica's boobs.
