I've read all the books and seen every episode thus far and honestly I wish True Blood was replaced with a double season of Game of Thrones. Zero excitement about tonight. I might watch it later in the week.

I can't get excited. I loved season 1. Liked season 2. Liked season 3. I couldn't even finish season 4.

Some girl gave me the first 4. I read the first 2 and that was enough, terrible books. The show is quite a bit better than the books but its still more of a guilty pleasure than a good show.

I think most objective fans (is the a contradiction in terms? :)) concede that TB is not a good show in terms of writing or acting but it does have its moments. Definitely needs more hot womenz.

I read the first 10 and gave up on the books, surprised I got that far. Actually about to go to a viewing party for this show.
Though the last season was really bad, and totally ruined the fairy angle.

My lack of excitement/interest for Season 5 of TB is partially due to Game of Thrones...my boyfriend and I watched season 1 in January and watched season 2 on HBO as the season went. Now that it's over I'm sad and kind of meh about TB (especially with the faeries). Eric and Jason make the show semi tolerable. Sookie is boring, Tara is awful, and unfortunately Lafayette's character became terrible because of Jesus/being a witch; before that occurred Lafayette was my favorite.

I'd say probably not. But I am encouraged about Chris Meloni cast for one of the Authority. Previews with him and have looked badass.
