I figured whoever dug up Russell is letting him stay there until he is fully healed. he was a burnt up french fry when they buried him. Once he eats a bunch of humans, he'll be ok. Russell and Steve Newlin need to team up. Great gay villian duo right there.

I think Tara's new role as vamp is taking the role of Bubba from the books. Bubba was turned at the morgue with a very small spark of life left and he came out as a special needs vamp.

I think Tara is going to have no memory of her former life. Which might be good, because she was annoying bitch when she had a heartbeat.
