Wait, did they bury Terry almost immediately? I don't get the timeline from last week's episode. Was that not Terry's plot or something? What the shite?

Yeah, every season before has had 12 episodes. Kind of odd, but I'd say the majority of HBO shows do 10 episodes, i.e. Game of Thrones. But I always assumed TB did 12 episodes because I'm sure their budget is less than GoT's.

I read an online article stating that they decided to do 10 instead of 12 episodes because of Anna Paquin giving birth and to save money.

Yeah, that was pretty fast.
I do think this season is a step in the right direction and is way better than last season.

I think next season will be even better. I read somewhere that the writers/director want to bring the show back to its roots. Make it about the town and vampires and not random shite everywhere.

Eric needs to go ham on someone. He was the top vamp on the block in season one and now all of these new johnny on the spots are trying to run shite.

Dammit. I really liked the vampire convention in the books. Wish we would get that for at least a few episodes.

A Vamp Convention would be fun to watch in the show. I'm just trying to figure out how they're going to bring the story/rein the stories back into Bon Temps. I enjoyed how S1 and S2 had a lot of Bon Temps, and even the Fellowship of the Sun stuff in Dallas was so fricking hilarious in S2.

That's good.
Because the scale of the show is ridiculous right now...and has been for seasons.
The show's about Sookie but she has no business fooling around with the characters that are actually movers and shakers in this world.

So why didn't Bill just go and break out Jessica himself since he has all these newfound powers? Another plot hole. And what would Bill do if Sookie didn't bring back Warlow? Kill the whole town?
