Sam went up a billion points in my book in two episodes. Beating the tar out of that guy and then the flashback to the headshot of that bastard.

-Hoyt knocked the shite outta Tommy.
-Sam is the shite.
-Stackhouse is fricking a jaguar, but she is not hot. He needs to drop that.
-Can someone please kill the black chick? She is aggravating as frick with her constant emotional roller coaster of whining, crying, drama, and bitching.
-What is the new waitress? She creeps me out.

Wasn't Jessica actually the one who beat the crap out of Tommy when she threw him when he was a dog?

yea, human tommy couldn't take hoyt so he had to change into a bitch pit bull to get him.

sam pretty much rules now.

tara can stop with the horrified expression and chin trembling now. she needs to get high a lot. she was kinda tolerable when she was stoned and getting some from that eggs cat.

and now lafayette has special powers?! Does everyone in that town have some kind of mystical thing happening for them? The only person I can think of who doesnt have some past is Hoyt. And maybe he does due to his newly found bad arse skills. I get the show is about vampires and such, but stop with the everyone is some kind of panther/dog/vampire/ferry/wolf/ferret/pig/whatever stuff. It makes the main storyline pretty dull. That's one reason why I didnt like the books

but overall it was a good episode, a lot was revealed.

Agree 100%. Pretty meh episode. Setting up last 2 I guess. I like the new badazz version of Sam. I'm more interested to see what happens with Hoyt now that he's had some of Jessica's blood. Russell has officially lost it. The battle with him & Eric should be epic.

tara needs to go, i hate her character.

tommy is getting annoying, im ready for something to happen to him.

im interested to see where this whole lafayette/jesus black magic thing goes.

sookies dumber than i thought she was for going to fantasia alone, she deserves to be locked up.

i cant wait to see more of russell freaking out and killing people.

a final episode eric/russell battle should be epic.

I'm thinking that Eric not giving anything to Yvetta in his will is gonna cause some problems for him later.

Also, the title of the episode was "I smell a rat"...who was the rat?

There was a lot of confessing from just about everyone except Bill. Bill was pretty much the only person that didn't come clean. We had Hoyt admitting his feelings to Jessica. We had Arlene confessing her devil fetus does not belong to Terry. We had Jason confessing to Tara he killed eggs. The new waitress confesses to being a wiccan. Jesus reveals his family history to Laffy. Eric confesses his feelings for Sookie. Crystal reveals to Jason to being a werepanther. So what did we get from Bill?

Also, Bill tells Sookie that Claudine told him what Sookie is. But something was kinda off in that scene. I gotta go back and look at it, but I almost got the feeling he harmed Claudine to get the information he needed.

The only parallel I can think of in reference to "I smell a rat" is the fact that back in the first season, the Rattrays attacked Sookie in the parking lot of Merlotte's...and last night Tommy attacked Hoyt in the parking lot of merlotte's. Sookie was saved by Bill who insisted she drink his blood. Hoyt was saved by Jessica who insists he drink her blood. Is Tommy the rat?

Did anyone else notice how Tommy watched Jessica feed Hoyt in the eparking lot. IMHO, Tommy will try something stupid with Jessica soon. Jessica will likely kill Tommy causing .......

Did anyone else catch the scene in the previews for next week with Eric walking in the daylight. He was smoking a bit but not up in flames. Something tells me he is gonna feed off of Sookie for some reason. Possibly to go after Russel IMO.

I'm glad more people are jumping on the anti-Tara bandwagon

he reminds me of a little ankle bitter dog, just yips yips yips at people, and is mostly just a pain and in the way.

right now it looks like a dead end, hopefully the writers pick it up a notch

Tommy watched Jessica and Hoyt the same way Sam watched Bill and Sookie when the Rattrays attacked Sookie. coincidence?

not really, to me it looks wide open on how jesus's uncle or grandfather who ever was a powerful sorcerer and had huge plans for him.

The visual effects of that scene were giving me a headache, I zoned out after about a minute.

I think this is what Eric's plan is to kill Russel. Eric is obviously worried about Russel and knows that he can't over power him. They had the seen in Fangtasia when Pam tells Eric to use Sookie to his advantage. You see in the previews for next week that Bill is telling someone (possibly Evetta or the other meth-head looking woman that works there) that Sookie needs his blood or she will die. I am guessing that Bill senses Sookie in danger, goes to Fangtasia where Eric overpowers and silvers him. Eric then feeds on Sookie so that he can walk in daylight to get to Russel while he is sleeping.

You may be right but I hope not. Talk about an anticlimatic ending.

Who was the blonde in Sam's flashback? She looked really familiar. Sam is a badass BTW.

Hoyt's punch on Tommy was sweet! I hope that punk gets his in the end.

Russell/Eric fight should be great. I hope Eric doesn't just kill him in the daytime. We need an awesome fight to the death.
