They are following the books, or so i have heard. Im not that far yet. But he have roamed the earth for more than 2000 years. he was tired of being there. Not that hard to understand.

Can't stand Maryann, I wish they would've killed her off instead of Godric.

Spoilers

He "did things" to kids. It didn't elaborate as to whether that was molest or just kill/feed from them. After 2000 years he couldn't live with himself anymore for all of the evil shite that he did.

Somewhat sticking to the books although they did bring Lafayette back and he was the one in the car without a heart in the books so

Spoilers

She won't be back next year. Her reign will end in the next few episodes unless they veer severely from the book.

really slow....I wonder if they are slowing down to set up for a big season finale??

I agree that Sam probably tells drunk Andy what's been going on and Andy somehow saves the day.

Jason looks like he's gonna kick some arse. "this is the war I've been training for"

Also looks like Bill and vamps are scared of Mary Ann too.

Just thought about the whole thing with Lafayette and Tara's mom coming to get her. They didn't seem to be affected by Maryann's energy, don't know if there is a reason for that, or if Maryann was trying to affect them. But, Lafayette could tell right off that there was something wrong with Eggs. Curious to see where this leads.

too much touchy feely dialogue crap, not action packed like last week. it's setting up though.

I think so too

Looks like The Cory's in The Lost Boys

Yea, they have no clue how to defeat her

in the books

she kinda just packs up and leaves. I doubt that is what will happen in the show though. Very anticlimactic. Which will make whoever does her in (Tara maybe?) pretty awesome.

I wonder if Eggs is really a bad guy or just way under her influence like Tara. That will be interesting as well.

This episode was real slow. Not much action, to much dialogue. Not a very good episode imo.

Whats the deal with that vampire getting sookie to suck out the metal and drink his blood? Cant stand that dude.

And Godric seems like a big pussy. He never did anything just sat there depressed and all calm. Granted this is the only season i have seen.

If you drink their blood they are closer to you. They can read your emotions, know where you are at all times, etc. You're forever bound to the vampire

I love Eric, he's one of the funniest characters on the show

I think he's just an enlightened person. He's just seen too much and from that is a really calm person. Which is funny because he could easily kill any of those vampires

Did Lafayette frick Eggs up because he drank Eric's blood a while back? Does that strength stay with him? Or is he just a bad-arse?

I thought the episode was terrible(relatively speaking). Godric dying was the only cool thing that happened, and I thought cinematically, they could have done that a whole lot better/cooler. Very anti-climactic.

if people are gonna keep posting what happens in the books, i want this thread retired permanently. these threads are supposed to be to discuss the episodes.

it's one thing to post spoilers for what happens in the episode, but another thing entirely to post scripts for the whole series.

you read the books. good for you.
now shut up about it.

I respectfully disagree. I like hearing what the books offer. I have no plans to read books nor do what they say affect or spoil anything about the show.

I thought Lafayette was able to take on Eggs because he was a vampire blood junkie?
