spoilers****
one thing i didnt understand is when they were holding bumblebee and the other autobots prisoners, they didnt bind their hands at all. And dont their hands turn into big arse guns? So hands behind the head=guns behind the head pointing at bad guys?

The problem is that you tried to think, and tried to understand.
I think the point though is that there is a delay from the guns deploying....time enough to shoot them.
And the hands behind their head is far away from a weapon that could be picked up...and keeps the hands in sight of the guards so they DON'T hide turning into a gun.

your over analyzing way to much. I didn't even think about this during that part.

Yeah I don't know how anyone that thinks that hard about it can enjoy any "summer popcorn flick".
Btw, the article Swamie linked refrenced Megatron wearing a shawl looking thing. The second I saw that I said "WTF" but once they did the closeup on him, you could see he was missing most of the upper left side of his head. I just attributed it to covering that up.

I wouldn't be surprised AT ALL if I was the only person in the theater who knew that it really was Buzz Aldrin

The new girl was great from the neck down. Surprised no one has commented on those catfish lips.

To be fair, I was also in a "hick" theater in Covington.
And I lost faith in humanity a little when after the movie I was asked by someone in the group "Why did you chuckle at "The needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few," to which I responded "Don't you know where that came from?"
"Yeah, a Chinese proverb."

the true greatness of Transformers: Dark of the Moon is that few people noticed at the end that they had just witnessed a summer blockbuster where the huge action finale was punctuated by a hand to hand fight between fricking shia lebouef and patrick goddamn dempsey.

It was a great movie. I forgot the two plot holes I found but I'm drunk. Whoever doesn't like this movie needs to go frick themselves.

So is that it? I mean, Megatron (who was hardly in this movie), Starscream, Soundwave and Shockwave are all dead. I guess they could move on with a new gen of Decepticons.
RIP Ironhide
BTW, this movie was awesome. So much better than #2. I still don't get why Bay keeps feeling the need for the goofy robots.

so you didn't like Buzz Aldrin's cameo?
I really enjoyed this movie and I don't ever go see Michael Bay-type movies. Not that I'm a snob or anything, just now that I'm in my 30s and married with a child, I don't get to the theater nearly as much as I used to and I have to be more selective. I was glad I caught this. The gap between the enjoyability of movies like this seen in the theater and seen at home is huge. A few things:
1) Megan Fox couldn't sniff the new girl's dirty panties (though I'd like to watch that movie)
2) Is Megatron supposed to sound like Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget?
3) I actually like Shia LaBoeuf

Good movie it is what it is. Fox is a lot hotter then the new girl. I am a brunette man however.

Are you talking about Megatron or Soundwave? Because the guy who voiced Soundwave in the movie is the same guy who voiced Dr. Claw.

Good movie. The girlfriend is hot. Yeah. Hated her and her roll in this movie. Bay should have let Sam shoot Mcwhatever in the face at the end instead and just whacking him in the face.
