I like the meta aspect of it and dude playing Simon Williams was very good as Black Manta. I’ll give it a full episode at least. Can’t be any worse than Ironheart which I didn’t even get halfway through the first episode of.

I’m not upset he is black but find it a curious choice.

Wonder Man’s brother is Grim Reaper and that character is unbelievably racist in the comics.

At what point does the obvious blackwashing of characters start to bother people? Couldn't someone with even a hint of creativity and imagination, create a great black superhero character that would also be a great movie?

Black people, of all people, should be pissed that Hollywood takes white characters and turns them black. It's a legit slap in the face and insulting.

I'm not mad, just tired. And this character looks awful, an even bigger slap in the face, turning a shite character into a black guy.

Are they just not making movies for the lesser known marvel characters anymore?

I bet if gotg was made today they'd turn it into some forgettable Disney+ show too
