is Pool/Billiards considered sport? If so, I might need to change my list to include both The Hustler and The Color of Money.

I think bowling and billiards should count.

What about poker? Is Rounders a sports movie?

Or what about Esports? Is the The Wizard a sports movie? Or Tron or Ready Player One?

I originally had Rounders on my list but somebody said they wouldn't count that. Fair enough.

Saw that when I was about 15. My mom loved that movie, she was a big Newman fan. Glad you posted that I have to mention that to her and see if she remembers it much.
Are we talking about the same thing?

There was a live TV version in 1956, with Newman.

In 1973 there was a feature film (which I don't care for) with Michael Moriarty and Robert DeNiro.

Video games can require some pretty skillful finger movements.

That is technically more physical than poker.

Plus you can now receive a scholarship for esports.

Just saying.

my thoughts about Rounders is more that it follows the classic sports movie formula with te climax a classic "game". I'm cool if it doesn't count
