Like Coming to America2 (now being Amazon Prime released) I am wondering if TopGun Maverick releases at theaters or on PPV-in theaters for 20 bucks?
Anybody know or guess if by this July we are going back to theaters?

My guess:
Simultaneous release in theaters and on Paramount+.
Edit: Cruise is going to use as much of his leverage to get this as wide a theatrical release as possible. He’ll partially succeed. It’ll be in theaters for 5 weeks, with occupancy at 50 percent capacity and mandatory masks. The fact that audience goers are anxious to return to normalcy and the lack of competition will be a box office advantage. It’ll make at least its production budget back if not more.
But Paramount+ will still offer it as a deal for subscribers (~60 percent of theatrical ticket price to rent it for one week) the week after theatrical release.

This is the one movie I really want to see in the theater.
There is no rush for this one.
It's not a time sensitive movie from what I gather.
Would not be shocked if it gets delayed again to December or Thanksgiving.

Jennifer Connelly looks alright still.
looks like she has had some work done but it is good work, will have to see the flick
