Educated guess on what your favorite characters would be:

1) Dany
2) Ros
3) Margeary
4) Ygritte
5) Osha

I haven't see much of the show, I saw a couple episodes of season 2, but I read all the books, so here is my ranking based on that.

Favorite:

1) Jon Snow - easily the most Ned-like Stark child who has proven how badass he is on multiple occasions. Highly intelligent for his age

2) Jamie Lannister - don't want to provide spoilers, but he is awesome in a lot of ways, not the least of which is how little he gives a frick about pretty much everything...well, aside from banging his sister, I guess.

3) Daenerys Targaryen - She originally annoyed me, going on about her claim to the throne and dragons and being so far away from anything, but she is also pretty badass for a thirteen year old girl.

4) Tyrion Lannister - Tyrion is the most self-aware character in the book, provides most of the series' humor, and has Bronn as a bodyguard, who'd rank just outside my top 5 favorites.

5) Arya Stark - highly resourceful, suffers through some serious shite and doesn't break, mentally, when she really should have by now.


Most Hated

1) Theon Greyjoy - Theon is weak and stupid. Has daddy issues and no loyalties whatsoever. Thinks more with his dick than his brain.

2) Joffrey Baratheon - Psychopath who should not be sitting on the throne for a multitude of reasons

3) Cersei Lannister - Despite being a terrible human being when it comes to other people in general, I do respect that most of her actions come from a need to protect her family. Except the being in love with her brother part.

4) Tywin Lannister - He is probably the most intelligent person in Westeros, but also the most ruthless. His children would be less fricked up if he were a half-way decent father.

5) Melisandre - Stannis would be much better off without her. She convinces him to do something horrible early in the series and without her Davos would be his top advisor, who is just outside my top five favorites.

Favorite:

1) Tyrion Lannister
2) Red Viper
3) Varys
4) Robb Stark
5) Tywin Lannister

*If Rhaegar counts, then he is in my Top 5.

Hated:

1) Viserys Targaryen
2) Lysa Arryn
2) Cersei Baratheon
4) Walder Frey
5) Balon Greyjoy

Most Underrated:

1) Stannis Baratheon
2) Cat Stark
3) Jojen Reed
4) Margery Tyrell
5) Pod Payne

See, to me, Tywin is awesome. Of all the characters, I think he'd make the best King of Westeros (and he arguable did the best job running Westeros as Hand.) Sure, he's ruthless and to the point, but I don't necessarily see that as a bad quality. He has all the intelligence and sense of Tyrion without the emotional compromising.

Plus, he just seems like such a badass.

I'd say so as well. Tywin is just very efficient at his job.

Pretty striking isn't it. It's almost as if Bieber takes plays from Joffrey's book.

Easily. If you notice, people in the Game of Thrones world who are honorable mostly end up dead. Everyone is just doing what they have to do to survive. I don't find there to be any real villainous characters aside from Joffrey, but he also a child and a product of inbreeding. The Mad King sounds like a psychopath too.
