I didn't want to be that guy, but...
Dude is too heavy to effectively play that role, unless he gets a serum or something that buffs him up.

Peter absolutely should get the symbiote suit and get rid of it before he ever faces Venom or even knows about any of this symbiote shite. It’s what makes the Venom character work so well to begin with. The symbiote being OBSESSED with Parker seeing him as the perfect host and acting like a jilted ex girlfriend after Peter tells it to frick off is so good. Then it bonds with Eddie Brock, who despises Peter Parker and boom, we’re off.
Doesn't Venom imply that Tom Holland Spiderman and Tom Hardy Venom are in different timelines? I may be remembering that wrong, but if it does then they can wrap up this Hardy-Venom trilogy and then have the same symbiote go into Tom Holland Spiderman's timeline and do this exact storyline still. Parker rejects venom, it finds the Eddie Brock in Holland's timeline as a substitute.

Really hoping to get a grounded and street-level Spidey that actually has to go through some everyday issues instead of playing Tony Stark Jr again. Easily my least favorite Spider-Man.
The first movie had to hit us over the head with reminders Spider-Man is in the MCU and Iron Man ate up screen time.
The second movie was a disaster.
The third movie had to rely on nostalgia bait, it's a pretty rough rewatch.
I feel no connection with Holland's iteration compared to Maguire or Garfield. The love interest felt forced. A lot of the writing just seemed really lazy and way too convenient for either Peter or to push certain plotlines that didn't feel natural at all.
Hopefully this reset will allow Spider-Man to stand on his own and actually flesh out his character.

According to Holland he’s read the script and said it’s different from what they’ve done in the past but think fans will love it. So sounds like he will be street level as it be the first time we seen Spider-Man truly be street level

No it didn't. Tom and Zendaya have pretty good chemistry.
