Just finished the movie. I couldn’t be more happy with it. I am happy to see Jesse find his peace and end the series completely. Wow that duel scene was fricking bad arse. I wish we had gotten to see what he wrote to Brock and that is my only complaint so far (will probably watch again tomorrow on more sleep). 10/10.

I liked it overall, but I'm surprised it didn't connect with BCS. Maybe it will when we get more scenes with Gene.
Even though this was a good movie it doesn't make sense to me why they would delay BCS to make this when they could have done it later.
It makes me feel like maybe there were parts of this movie that had to happen before we see the conclusion of BCS. I could be wrong, but it just doesn't make sense.
I really did like it, I'm just trying to figure out why they had to do it right now. Maybe they knew Todd would get too fat if they waited any longer.

What I liked about the movie was how it showed that Jesse was completely broken during his captivity. He wouldn't even press the issue with Todd when he had the gun and an easy if only for a short time escape. Later we learn he still has his humanity not wanting to kill "cops" or even welders until it came down to him or them. At that point, we knew he valued his own life again.

Absolutely loved it. That showdown scene really felt like a Walter White scene. Jesse went in with a calculated plan, and it worked to perfection. Speaking of, how great was it to see the flashbacks with Mike and Walt??Jesse really carried this movie well.

The constant shots of the spider in the case was an obvious parallel to Jesse.

Probably comes down to Netflix putting up a large enough amount of money to get the film done before continuing BCS. If they wanted something in 2019, then they probably made Gilligan an offer he couldn't refuse.
