I totally forgot to look for the scene when Saul had his heart attack during the filming of this episode.. anyone notice anything?
It must've been the scene with Kim leaving right? I can't recall any other scenes where he was really worked up.

I was hoping for a final "Something Stupid" montage that juxtaposed the construction of the super lab along with Saul Goodman becoming 'Saul Goodman'. I think the Gus story is done though, but who knows.

My take is that is the moment Gus does not let anything get in his way. There is no room for error to accomplish his goals. He is being exposed to his ‘weaknesses’ but knows he must walk away (no room for mistakes), he is now hyper focused on the end game..

He’s been so committed to it this entire time and it’s awfully coincidental that the day this episode airs, he finally conceded it could be the episode to sink his long held theory

yea she specifically cuts ties with jimmy bc them doing business together causes problems. that means she is surely doing business with jimmy in BB...

There seems to be a some new pictures that could be foreshadowing things to come on the IMDb episodes page. Definitely getting Walt next episode.

yea im guessing its mostly gonna be flashbacks to shite like that. maybe a little context of saul's adjustments after meeting jesse/walt and right before he has to disappear.
they wont be inventing new plot from BB bc theres 4 episodes left (that was also never the point of BCS) and jimmy still has to get the blackbook, build and resolve tension/drama in gene timeline.

Thinking next week will just be some BB era spots from Saul’s point of view with “special guest stars Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston”. Then at the end of the episode it shows Saul walking back up the stairs with his blue luggage leaving Walt behind and jumping in a vehicle headed for Omaha. We’ll see his first day at Cinnabon and whatnot beginning the following episode. As long as the last scene of the finale is Jimmy seeing Kim at the mall and saying “I’m so glad you had nothing to do with my life as Saul in any way, shape or form since you left me in Albuquerque. This guy I was working for would have probably put you in a barrel of acid at some point.”
Then all will be fine….
