I can’t imagine Gus and Mike being ok with her quitting her job and trying to dissappear. No chance.
This is the reason that I've thought she was vacumed. As much as Mike hated killing Werner Ziegler, he would still kill Kim Wexler.
Here is my question regarding Gene managing the Cinnabon in Omaha. We know that Saul had (maybe) a million in cash in BB. Certainly not nearly as much as Walt, with his barrels, but he's the one that taught Walt and Jessie how to launder their money and he knows a guy, that knows a guy, etc. Is there going to be another big time jump and he's completely out of money?
Also, I definitely don't see him seeing Kim from a distance with a family thing. That has happened in hundreds of shows and movies and would be the epitome of lazy writing - no way that happens. If they're no longer together in any fashion, maybe he sends her money from Sandpiper or cash or whatever in the yearly call?
Who knows ......

Isn't his only real source of money post-BB vacuuming that bag of diamonds? I coudl be wrong, but it's felt like in past Gene scenes that his life is pretty meager overall and I think he would have had to use those diamonds to vacuum himself again, so I would presume he doesn't have a lot of cash but I have no real idea.

I don't really know what to think. In the last gene scene when he's been made int he mall he calls the vacuum guy again and places the order, but at the very last minute he sees something or someone that makes him stop dead and then he cancels. I just can't imagine what he would have seen that would have him do an instant 180 like that. It feels lazy for it to be kim but I mean what else could it be?

People were wondering if this was the same day Walt came in the office for the first time but the suit didn’t match. But it is the same suit and tie when Walt and Jesse kidnap him and take him out to the desert. The Caddy was parked in the same space but Saul probably parked there every day. So perhaps this is the day after Walt came in.

That and the special occasion that Gus is saving the bottle of wine for is after he kills all of the salamancas
So he never got to drink the wine to celebrate? sad
Or, when he killed the entire cartel in s4.

Are you talking about the transition last night into Saul? The license plate date doesn't match up with that time in BB, right?

Just checked the scenes. Looks like different suits to me

Yeah. At home looking at the tv in full HD. They are slightly different. Well that’s twitter for you. Someone claimed it and everyone agreed and I took a quick glance on my phone. Perhaps it’s the same tie but it’s a pinstripe suit in the kidnapping scene and solid black last night.
We’re so trained to look for these sneaky callbacks and sometimes it’s just a nothingburger.

I haven’t read the entire thread, but through page 6 or 7, no one mentioned the cinema photography of this episode.
As a camera geek, I noticed a lot of perfect symmetric shots. The episode was beautifully shot. I’m guessing it represented Kim and Jimmy.

Right. His plate would put us in 2005. Or possibly very late 2004. BB meeting is 2008 it has been said.
NM doesn't have obvious seasons so harder to tell what time of year short of them saying something.

Refresh my memory.
The opening scene in front of the elevator and Saul says they got a new trashcan.
Did Saul smash the old one?

And to think only 3 people in this whole BB/BCS universe will appear to be alive AND have any sort of happy life in their remaining days and that’s Badger, Pete and possibly Francesca. Badger technically may not because we never found out if he made it back from hitchhiking after taking Pete’s car out in the middle of nowhere. Jimmy and Kim are TBD so we’ll see.
Jesse’s alive and well in Alaska but he has to be in constant psychological fear after what he went through. What if Kim went to Alaska to get away from it all and….?
There are only two viable options for another show from this universe at this point. A drama showing Walt Jr overcoming all the hardships from his high school years and turning Loyola’s into Albuquerque’s premier breakfast diner. Unfortunately he becomes a spitting image of his dad and is now in the empire business(of pancakes). That or a 30 minute sitcom featuring Badger and Skinny Pete living in a apartment with a constantly irate Francesca as the landlord telling them to put out weed.
And I know…

it could be that hes just ready to stand up for himself especially when he realizes everyone else involved is dead. he had to see news of walt/nazis death. in gene scenes he wanted to defend someone caught for theft and was shouting hey get a lawyer!!
plus there may have been some thematic connection with that and some book he was reading in gene scenes i dont really recall tho.
