the episode where Odenkirk had a heart attack irl
I didn't know about that. Just looked it up LINK
quote:
On July 27, 2021, Odenkirk was hospitalized in Albuquerque after having what he described as a "small heart attack" on the set of the sixth season of Better Call Saul. Three days later, on July 30, Odenkirk reported that he would "be back soon" and on September 8 he reported he had returned to work. In 2022, Odenkirk revealed that he had two stents placed in his coronary arteries shortly after the widow-maker heart attack due to arterial plaque build-up, which he had been diagnosed with earlier in 2018; he also said that his condition was more severe than had initially been understood, disclosing that his heart stopped and he required cardiopulmonary resuscitation and defibrillation to recover a pulse.

Apparently one of the scenes in the next episode was filmed with a split of 5 weeks in filming due to his heart attack during. Meaning they only got part of it before he keeled over, then finished when he returned.
Odenkirk said he's curious if the break will be noticeable.

I guess it is next week's "Fun and Games" episode. I thought it was during E08.

Is this the greatest “prequel”
ever? It’s not often, if ever, a story told about the time before another show or movie Is possible better than than the great show that the is the premise of the prequel.

I thought it was during the filming of the apartment scene where Lala shoots Howard?

It was. They mentioned it on the BCS Official podcast this week.

I’m a grown man and I feel all kinds of emotions looking at that pic. That is so awesome, nice to see a pic that elicits a smile for a change, thx for posting. I miss this show already

That's odd. It was an interview with Odenkirk that came up on my feed today and I didn't notice it being from several days ago. Which I normally do as I skip over older stuff.

I think there is some misinformation about which episode they were filming when he had a heart attack. It definitely wasn't E07 "Plan and Execution". From everything I've read, it was during a scene for E09.
This was from an article posted yesterday (7/12) when he received his Emmy nomination:
"Last July, Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk suffered a heart attack while filming an episode for the sixth and final season of the AMC show. After receiving another Emmy nomination on Tuesday for his starring role, the actor reflected on the near-death experience and said next week’s episode is the one in which the heart attack happened."
from another article:
"But it was during the filming of "Fun and Games," airing July 18 on AMC, that Odenkirk suffered a heart attack."

I came across an article yesterday, I don't recall the website, but the showrunner commented that the next episode has an even bigger event than the most recent.
Could be some misdirection, as I'd be very surprised if they would give much away, but about the only thing bigger at this point would be something with Kim as the other characters are all in BB.
I was going to say jokingly it was Burnett's appearance he was talking about, but now that I think about it if she should be playing Kim's mom that could be a big thing.

Could also be Walt and Jesse showing up
Have the “6-3, 6-8, 6-9” pics been discussed yet?

What is this about?
Something that I had forgotten about; Howard told his wife if anything bad happens to him it's because of Jimmy. Didn't he also say he wasn't suicidal to her?

Nacho died in episode 6-03
Lalo died in episode 6-08

1-Some people have way too much time on their hands. And way better memory than I.
2-I'm not seeing an 8. *Now I do.
What episode is that Kim pic from?

Yeah, I'd have to agree. Too far in advance. The other two though...

Thought the way Lalo got taken out was kinda lame, but otherwise really good episode.

Wish Gus would have got to finish him off with his hands after they were both shot..kinda reflecting his brutality in the box cutter episode. See whose hate was bigger and who wanted it more lol
