Seeing Howard's brains on her couch will likely cause her to rethink her chosen path in life.

She’s going to take it way worse then Jimmy did after the desert shootout because she’s going to blame herself for Howard dying. Also for not being cautious enough about Lalo

Gus is going to kill Lalo in the lab.

It's literally Chekhov's gun. He hid it in the wheels of the bulldozer.

Probably, but the Chekhov’s gun rule is you don’t show a gun early and it not come back into play, usually significantly. So it could be Mike who uses the gun. He’s got to do something to jump Tyrus as Gus’s right-hand man. That could be it.

Perhaps he picked it up from Tio's constant ringing of the bell?

He could hear the scratch even he was on hold

I type slow. All the responses about the scratch on the phone line, which I didn't hear, were posted while I was hunt and pecking.

The gun will be used, but not as planned. Vince would not show you a gun and then 5 episodes later have it used as the character intends.

Somebody will shoot the gun. Somebody will be killed by the gun. But it won't be Gus shooting Lalo.

I'm pushing all my chips in that Kim is one of those two people. Either she kills Lalo with it, or she gets killed with it.

Calm the frick down. Ozymandias was one of the best episodes aried on television ever.

This was a very good episode with a shocking ending

Serious Question for you TV Series Buffs:

HOW do writing teams keep all this stuff straight? Is there some room in the TV studio with all the timelines & yarn strings connected to each other like that Charlie Day meme?

The absolute task of having all the info from Breaking Bad that then bleeds into Better Call Saul & then vice versa = beyond anything I know how to do without proper guidance on just how it is done.

Just finished the mid season finale. Ended with a bang. Incredible ending. The actor who plays Lalo is very good.

they probably outline a season maybe 2 in advance and hammer out the specifics between episodes. they leave enough possibilities to pivot and change directions.

I read somewhere that his charisma was not written into the character. Dalton did that himself and they went with it.

Really makes the character.

According to Ham they've had the whole show laid out since before season one.

He and the guy who plays Bob Evans in The Offer may be the best two supporting actors on TV right now

According to one of the writers, this episode was not meant to be a mid-season break, so we may not be getting a cliffhanger.

Well that was a good misdirect. That was maybe the best episode of BCS ever. One of the most fun episodes of television I can remember. Ever. That ending. Damn.

Wish they would have let Vince and Peter write that last season of Ozark.
