They’ve done a great job of setting up Kim for a fall. Even through the recent turn, you could argue that she still wants to do the right thing by setting up this pro bono firm to offer top shelf representation to indigent clients.
But now, Cliff has made that goal entirely possible legally and on the up and up. She now has no justification whatsoever for breaking bad.
But she’s going to do it anyway. And unless she is completely outside the morality of the entire BB universe, she will pay terrible consequences for this decision.

Surely the Howard thing is going to backfire, right? He probably already knows Jimmy was at the country club because he made a scene. They’ve already done the hooker thing before. And when Cliff confronts Howard and says “I saw you kick a prostitute out of your car” he can say “I was at an appointment with a therapist” and can probably provide a receipt.

Yeah I'm not sure why and where the Howard thing is going unless it's purely just trying to get money for Kim's pro bono setup. Feels unnecessary.
But I trust the process behind this show and believe in the future payoff.

It’s all for the money. Kim wants to do nothing but pro bono work, she’s obsessed with it, and the only way is to that settlement money from “greedy” lawyers like Hamlin

Do you think lalo is heading to Germany to find Werner Ziegler’s family and co workers, to provide proof that gus was up to no good?

That's where I think he's headed. Could be wrong though.
Hoping Mike gets to take out that construction guy that he hates for talking to Lalo.

To her complete surprise, Cliff just gave her a clean and legal way to accomplish the same goal. But it won’t be as “fun” for her.

She is going to continue forward with the plan to get Howard. Cliff Main will rescind his offer to help her when the plan blows up in her face. Still think she is in jail or relocated during BB.

That may be her out when things get to be a bit too much for her versus being offed somehow or other.

what does lalo have to gain by going to germany? Let's ignore the logistics of this known wanted criminal getting on a plane and flyign to Europe, then somehow tracking down one individual. So let's say he gets there and the guy spills the beans "oh yeah, we were building an underground concrete lab thing, here's the size, here's the location". Waht does that prove? Lalo already pretty much knows that hsomething fishy was going on, it seems like he'd have a far easier time just hanging around town and being led to it.

Kim's watching over her shoulder actions at the end of the show have me more convinced that she will be the first to use the vacuum repair service.
Kim is about to get herself in some very hot water and Saul will go unscathed.

He can prove that Gus is trying to cut out the cartel, and get the green light to kill him.
The lab or the Madrigal partnership
proves Gus is making a move against them.

I agree. I don't see what going to Germany accomplishes.
The group didn't know what they were building, didn't even know what city they were in and (someone can correct me if I'm wrong) Werner was the only one who actually ever met Gus and that was only during his audition.

This makes sense to me, but how does getting proof that the germans were building an underground concrete room prove gus was doing it for drug manufacturing?

Who knows what actual information they know, plus I think it would be pretty obvious to the cartel if they know about it being built under a laundromat.
I'm not convinced that's what's happening, but Mike's threats to the construction guys just seemed like an issue that was going to come up again.

As a way out of left field guess, Lalo may not be going to Germany but to Chile to find out exactly who Gus is.
I'm also not sure that Lalo is looking for "proof" to get the green light from Eladio to kill Gus. He may need the proof as a retroactive justification for already having killed Gus.

Are you saying Gus Fring is dead?
You are as nutty as Ham Solo...

So just an observation from this episode in relation to breaking bad. I see Mike only disclosing the information about Lalo to Kim and said it was because she basically could take it. I feel that something happens to Kim before she ever tells Saul and that Mike has something to do with it.
In BB, when Saul is brought out to the desert he apparently doesn’t know Lalo is dead (assuming he is) and is always frightened when Mike is around throughout the show and refuses to work with him. Just trying to connect some dots.

This is my thinking as well.

Or Lalo was searching for nacho and will get the word that he is dead from the twins or Hector. Then he’ll mosey on over the border and Pester Saul and Kim about the desert pickup again before Mike kills him.
