Doesn't Saul say in BB that his 2nd wife screws his stepdad?

Yes, but this was just Saul bs to try and cheer up Walt.

Jimmy's mom is dead so there is no way for him to gain a stepdad.

Jimmy has turned for good into Saul. Only Kim could get him to use his talents for good.

What a phenomenal episode. I’d say tonight’s ep topped last week’s.

I’m so pumped to see where this goes in the last 3 episodes.

I missed the detail that Kim doesn’t have a middle name.

Yeah, That little comment was interesting. Is it significant, or were the writers making fun of themselves for never giving her one yet?

It was just a strange line to throw in there.

The crazy thing is that this was entirely a set up episode. It's just setting the stage to finish the season out and it was still super interesting.

I might be the only person here that thinks the Mesa verde is stuff is more interesting than the Gus stuff

Nope. The Gus and Mike stuff is cool, but we know exactly where it's headed. It's just getting the details.

With both Kim and Jimmy/Saul it's much less clear, which I find more interesting.

It's kind of crazy, but we got way more detail on Mike in BB than we did Saul.

I do have one nitpick with this episode though. The writers rarely screw up, but there was one thing tonight that didn't sit well.

Gus has been the cash cow for the cartel for a while now, plus he has a successful legitimate business.

The Salamancas have been portrayed as kind of struggling, but kind of get a pass because of old school ties.

That being said, why has Gus struggled for years to get the Madrigal guy his 4.8 million back, but Lalo is like 7 million bail, no problem?

Maybe Gus is spending every dime building his business, or maybe we will see that the 7 million Jimmy picks up doesn't fully belong to Lalo.

It just doesn't add up on the surface.
