Thoughts on The Voice

Gave up on it a few years ago. The blind auditions are fun, but the next two rounds are excrutiating TV.

Thoughts.......
I love Kelly. She has been on two seasons and has won twice. She seems to really connect with her team. Looks like she reallycares for them.
Adam seemed really disconnected this season except when he talked about Rheagan. That was borderline creepy.
I love Kelly.
Jennifer Hudson needs to stop throwing her shoes at the contestants. I’m glad she won’t be there next season.
I love Kelly.
Blake was sober this year. That was different.
The heavy white girl should have won. I believe she was the best voice hands down. It stops being about just the voice after blinds. Her appearance kept her from winning. She will have a very successful career in Christian music.
The little country singer that won has a classic country voice that I love and miss in that genre. If properly managed she could be the next Carrie Underwood. Too many variables there to say it will undoubtedly happen, but she has the talent and likability to be that type of star.
And I love Kelly.

Kelly is everything. Glad she has won twice in a row and with very different styles of artists even if both were young females.
I can easily see why NBC has scooped her up and is going to give her her own daytime talk show.

I quit watching a couple years ago after the country singer girl lost to the r&b singer guy. Clearly rigged, that dude couldn’t sing for shite and hasn’t been heard from since.

Jennifer Hudson and Kelly made the season. Not sure why you criticize one and praise the other, just because she throws a shoe? Even Kelly joined in an threw a shoe not once, but twice this season.... where's that commentary?

All of this. I loved the idea of a show where contestants were judged solely on their talent. The Voice is a show where the contestants make it on the show based on their talent. After that they let Dumbass America decide, and we all know what that means.

I only really watch clips, but surprised to see so much love for KC
She's typically pretty cringeworthy to watch IMO, although I'm sure she's a nice/good person.

Extremely creepy. The way he threw Deondre under the bus on live tv while she had her little pouting crying incident that they masked as "illness" was just so weird and uncomfortable.
As was the ending of the finale a few days ago. A lot of weird this season.

You could tell he knew he fricked up and got a talking to from the network. He was unusually quiet and didn’t get asked to comment much the last two episodes. He caught tons of shite for that dick move.

She is extremely talented. No question about that. Seemed she could emulate any voice she wanted almost flawlessly. But I never heard her sing and said to myself “she has a great and unique sound”. I believe that will come for her as she is only 13-14.
