Didn't really hear much about this when it was out at the movies, but caught it on TV last night...

Loved the idea and it got kinda dark, which I enjoyed, but I couldn't figure out if I liked it that much or not.

Thoughts on it?

I had a problem with that it seemed to be suggesting it's ok to cheat but I don't feel like getting into that debate again.

My main gripe was the cop-out ending. But even given all that I enjoyed it and would recommend it to others.

spoilers.....

It bothered me how hey blew over the whole murder of blonde girl thing. it could have and should have been a big thing IMO, but they just used it as an easy transition to how he knew the lawyer who was also the lawyer of the merger guy, sorry for the lack of names. havent seen it in a while.

Wasn't terrible.
Wasn't great.

Meh.

And Bradley Cooper is a shitty actor.

yeah, i think the "easy" ending kinda spoiled it for me as well...

Interesting movie - ending keeps it at "good" rather than "great"

Stumbled on to it one night doing my closed-eyes netlfix no-whammy no-whammy random movies night. Alright movie. Not bad. I did enjoy the trippy intro that never stopped zooming in.

personally i liked it

but i think i liked it because i've always wondered what humans would be able to accomplish if they were to use 100% of their brains

de niro mustve needed a paycheck tho

SPOILER

and the scene of him drinking the dude's blood to get smart again was kinda stupid

how can drinking a little amount of blood have the same amount of taking one pill when the chemicals in the pill wouldve been severely diluted in the blood

but then again, i liked Independence Day
