I know it came out a while ago but what are yalls thoughts?

I hated it. Lindsey had so much plastic surgery and i think they tried to hard on the flashbacks. plus is was confusing. more confusing than the original 3 seasons

I thought it was brilliant as soon as they laid down the foundation for the season and you caught on to what they were doing.

Sorry you didn't get it, bro.

It was clever how they played with the medium and all but I feel they missed out on one very important thing: to be funny.

I'm sure it's great and demands a rewatch but it was a chore to get through the first time.

You gotta watch the whole season. If you've watched the other three seasons, you can't just make up your mind mid season.

I liked it, but it's not seasons 1-3.

An actress changing her appearance after a few years isn't really a good reason to hate a show.

I liked it once I got used to both the format and the fact that there weren't going to be as many family interactions as the original run.

The whole family was only in two scenes I believe but I thought they made it work.

I was taken aback at first at the change in format, but once I caught I realized it was amazingly done.

Was nervous after the first two or three episodes because they weren't very funny, but it picked up big time. Probably the weakest season of the series overall, but only marginally.

I didn't hate it, but I wish they would have done something different. The strengths of the show were writing (which was still strong) and the assemble cast. By going the route they did, they dismantled one of the strengths of the show for a large portion of the season. Some of the characters weren't strong enough to carry a whole episode.

Didn't like it at first, but by the end of the season I appreciated it much more and had a higher opinion of it. It was really well done. I still haven't watched it a second time though so I'm looking forward to that.

I understand why they had to do it that way, but it does miss out on the best aspect of the first three seasons which was relying on family interactions on a daily basis. Even season 3 was lacking in that department.

The plastic surgery was weird, but more than that, the character isn't really all that funny, not by herself at least.

that's unfair. it was definitely confusing at times to remember where you were in the timeline and shite. arguing that would be silly. i thought it was awesome though.

Hit and miss.

I hate that each show focused on individual characters; it's a reminder that some work well in small doses buy characters like George, Lindsey and the mom quickly wear out their welcome.
