Good episode. Hey guess what happened, Kate bitched the whole episode about how nobody loves her and she's fat. Lol
Solid episode, although that scene at the end where Randall's wife jumped in his arms and made out with him in front of the kids was cheesy AF

I loved this episode which surprised me since I'm so anxious to get the story on Jack's death which is a long time coming. I expected to be a bit bored.
One thing I've thought about a lot is how awful present Rebecca's wig is. Did I miss something? Did she have chemo? It's the worst I've ever seen on TV.

That's what infuriates me about her character. It all comes back to her insecurities. Opera singers are often big as a barn and they own the shite out of it. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. Her grudge against Rebecca is bullshite.

I must have missed that or I completely forgot about it. Now, I'm thinking the drinking is related to something that happened while he was in the service.
I admit to being a bit bored with Kate's saga with her mother. I hope that doesn't go on and on, but it seems like this is another reason Kate was so close to her father.
I mentioned in a post above about how awful older Rebecca's wig is. I notice it every time she's in a scene. Did I miss something about her hair? The texture is completely different from the way it was when she was younger and it's just such an obvious wig that I feel like it's supposed to be obvious. I don't remember any references to an illness which would cause her to wear a wig. Am I forgetting something?

This might not be a "hot take", but I just thought of this... Doesn't Kate keep Jack's ashes in a vase above the mantle? I think we saw that when Toby barged in on her Steelers watch "party".

Toby got mad respect from me with the way he refused taking sides with Rebecca. That was a boss move. Why anyone would be "Team Kate" is beyond me, but that's a totally different issue.

My wife mentioned it. I told her “that is Mandy Moore. Your gonna have to put in a little work to make her look like a grandma”.
