I saw this show advertised on HBO, but cannot find it on the HBO Go app, nor can I find this on Kodi. Anyone have any suggestions for finding this show?

Well, it hasn't aired on HBO yet, so...nowhere?

Edit: Apparently it has aired in Europe so I'm sure its out there on the torrents somewhere, but it does not air in the US until the 15th.

Well that answers that. I had thought it had shown all the episodes already.

The Young Pope just doesn't seem entertaining at all. It's blasphemous for the sake of blasphemy. I say this as a non-Christian who loves the likes of Preacher. It just seems cheap like a Ryan Murphy show.

Kind of Eh. But I'll keep the faith as a Jude Law fan.

I've already watched all the episodes.

And you would be entirely wrong.

I'd be more interested if this were set in olden times. Could be a historical fiction. Could use real historical figures. There are many interesting popes.

I thought the first half or so was kind of strange, but after the nun showed up it started to develop some flow. And Jude Law looks to be pretty good in it so far.

Yeah it was solid enough to stick around for ep 2. I enjoyed him flaunting his power over his underlings. Guy with the mole investigating his past should be a good storyline.

Then we would just complain about the historical accuracy.

Did you ever watch the Borgias with Jeremy Irons?

The dream sequence was too long. Once we got into the meat of him being the new Tony Soprano of the Vatican, it was entertaining.

I watched the Netflix Borgia but not the Jeremy Irons one. It was a renaissance era papal drama so I don't need another one of those. I'd like to see a similar show but set back even further in time.
